Instructure, the makers of Canvas, reported that the issue affecting Crocodoc and the Box document-viewer was resolved as of 2:03am EDT today. This issue was the result of yesterday’s DDoS attacks on key providers of core internet services.
If you are still experiencing any issues with Crocodoc (used to view documents in SpeedGrader) or the Box document-viewer (used to view file previews in Canvas), please try logging out of Canvas, clearing your browser’s cache, closing your browser, opening your browser again, logging back into Canvas at canvas.upenn.edu, and viewing the document in Crocodoc via SpeedGrader or in the Box document-viewer.
